I-Berhad, Aussie firm to develop i-City tech facility

SYDNEY: Property developer I-Berhad and Australia's serviced office provider Servcorp Ltd will spend an estimated US$30 million (RM98.1 million) over the next five years on technology infrastructure in the RM2 billion i-City property development in Selangor, Malaysia.

The amount will go towards offering the first of its kind comprehensive concierge services, which include human and innovative technology services.

The estimated outlay will mostly be used to set up the fibre-optic cables and towards the acquisition of Cisco network to help support the concierge service.

The i-City concierge service, akin to services provided at five-star hotels, will not only have key services such as reception greeting, call management, facility management, customer service support, but also include the provision of state-of-the art....
